Police tapes reveal interview with so-called 'vampire' and h
CHANDLER, AZ - Chandler police have released the interview tapes between a so-called vampire and his victim.
Robert Maley told police his roommate, Aaron Homer, stabbed him in the arm last week because he wouldn't let him suck his blood.
In a taped interview with police, Maley admitted he let Homer suck his blood in the past but when he refused to do it again, Homer got upset.
“He wants to cut you again so he could suck your blood?” asked the officer.
“And I said no and then he flipped because they think they're vampires,” replied Maley.
When police first arrived at the Chandler apartment on October 4, Homer initially told police his girlfriend, Amanda Williamson, stabbed Maley in self defense.
But police got suspicious after they said Homer kept changing his story and after investigators found fake blood throughout the apartment.
“Why is there fake blood all over your floor and all over your room and fake blood on the knife that was supposedly in somebody's arm?” asked an officer during a taped interview.
“This is a really freaky situation and I know he was bleeding...” said Homer.
“You got that right. You're definitely right about that,” said the officer.
Police ended up arresting Homer and Williamson. Both are both accused of lying to police and trying to cover up the stabbing.
