Belt has some advice if you are thinking about a career in photography. You can volunteer to take pictures for a local organization that can’t afford to hire a professional photographer. You can also take a good, honest look at your best photographs. If you’re a real photographer, your photos are good because of your personal and technical skills. Belt also recommends studying and learning from photos taken by professional photographers.
【第一句】Belt has some advice if you are thinking about a career in photography.
語(yǔ)法詞匯點(diǎn)：
該句中if引導(dǎo)的是一個(gè)條件狀語(yǔ)從句，“如果……”，這里，從句用的是現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)，表現(xiàn)在的某種狀態(tài)，主句用的是一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)。關(guān)于if條件句的時(shí)態(tài)搭配，學(xué)派名師王霞在課程中都會(huì)講到，尤其是語(yǔ)法微課會(huì)系統(tǒng)介紹。此外，if表示的條件也可以是虛擬的，不太可能的，這就涉及到虛擬語(yǔ)氣了，比如，If I were you, I would invite him to the party.(如果我是你，我會(huì)邀請(qǐng)他參加聚會(huì)。)這塊兒比較難，職稱英語(yǔ)涉及的不多，做一般性了解即可。

段首該句引出后面的內(nèi)容——some advice。所以，如果問(wèn)some advice指的是什么，就應(yīng)該在下文找。
【第二句】You can volunteer to take pictures for a local organization that can’t afford to hire a professional photographer.
語(yǔ)法詞匯點(diǎn)：
volunteer to do something“志愿做某事”;關(guān)系代詞that引導(dǎo)的是一個(gè)定語(yǔ)從句，先行詞是a local organization，在從句中作的是主語(yǔ)，定語(yǔ)從句還原為“a local organization can't afford to hire a ...”——“雇不起專業(yè)攝影師的地方機(jī)構(gòu)”;can't afford to do something=can't afford something“(因?yàn)闆](méi)有財(cái)力或時(shí)間而)負(fù)擔(dān)不起”;hire“雇傭”。

語(yǔ)法詞匯點(diǎn)：
take a look at“看一看”，good、honest是修飾名詞look的——怎樣去看：仔細(xì)、誠(chéng)實(shí);best是good的最高級(jí)，可以作形容詞，“最好的”，如，my best friend“我最好的朋友”。
譯文：你也可以用誠(chéng)實(shí)的態(tài)度仔細(xì)端詳自己最好的攝影作品。
【第四句】If you’re a real photographer, your photos are good because of your personal and technical skills.
語(yǔ)法詞匯點(diǎn)：
if引導(dǎo)的是條件狀語(yǔ)從句，在解析本段第一句的時(shí)候已經(jīng)講過(guò)，此處不贅述了。主句中，because of+n. = because+從句，表因果關(guān)系，前果后因。也可以改寫(xiě)為"your photos are good because your skills are personal and technical."
譯文：如果你是一位真正的攝影師，你的作品會(huì)因?yàn)槟愕膫�(gè)人特色和精湛的技藝而變得出類(lèi)拔萃。
【第五句】Belt also recommends studying and learning from photos taken by professional photographers.
語(yǔ)法詞匯點(diǎn)：recommend doing something“建議做某事”;taken by是動(dòng)詞分詞作后置定語(yǔ)，修飾photos，也有被動(dòng)之意，by后面的是take photos這一動(dòng)作的施動(dòng)者。

該句中有一個(gè)省略了關(guān)系詞的定語(yǔ)從句，you make前省略了that / which，先行詞是the connection，在從句中作make的賓語(yǔ);rewarding“值得的，有益的”。
譯文：你為溝通所做的一切都是非常值得的。
