Good morning, my respected professors! It is my honor to be here for your interview. First, let me introduce myself to your. I am * *, 23, born in Guilin, I am a senior student in the Computer College of Henan Normal University. Now, I am doing my best to obtaining a chance to attend Sichuan University.
In the past 4 years, most my time has been spent on study or campus activities. I had passed the CET-6 and Software Designer Examination. Our software project got the supported of the College Student Development Foundation. Furthermore, the experience of being monitor in my class and vice director in the Students’ Union helped me know the importance of cooperation and communication.
As to my characters, I don’t want to use any beautiful word to praise myself. Just like my father, I strive to be an honest, upright and modest man. In my spare time, I like swimming, table tennis and Chinese chess. Also English songs and movies are my favorite.
Forrest Gump had said, ‘Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get’. However, I always believe we should cherish our time, and sense any change for self-development, and we will have good prospect.

In the past two years I have been preparing for the postgraduate examination. Now all my hard work has got a result since I have a chance to be here. So I just feel a little bit nervous, because this is my first time to have such an interview.
In the past three and a half years, I have learnt some basic knowledge of 所學(xué)專業(yè). For example, from the courses of 課程名稱 and 課程名稱, I got to know 專業(yè)理論. When I learnt more about this field, I became more interested in it. I really enjoyed my journey when reading and absorbing the information from these fascinating works. In addition to reading books, I also like browsing through some journals in 專業(yè)領(lǐng)域 on a daily basis so that I can keep an eye on the latest news and findings in my area. My passion in 專業(yè)名稱 is the reason why I would like to pursue my further study in this field. 在自我介紹完了老師就會開始問你問題這里列出一些常見的問題，需要認(rèn)真準(zhǔn)備。注意在準(zhǔn)備的過程中，要結(jié)合自己的經(jīng)歷和見解來準(zhǔn)備答案，讓自己回答的問題和整個的自我介紹融為一個整體。要不然很容易被考官抓住把柄，問個沒完，很容易因緊張而露出馬腳。
在每一年的面試中都會有很多相同的問題，這些問題看起來很平常，卻有很多陷阱，一不小心就會被考官抓主小辮子了�；卮疬@些常見的看起來很平常的問題，是很有藝術(shù)的。
基本上每個院校每個專業(yè)的口試中都會涉及這一方面�？脊倨鋵嵤且璐肆私饽愕目陬^表達(dá)能力以及你的報名表之外的一些信息。自我介紹時間以2-3分鐘為宜。思路要清楚，要突出重點，口語盡量流利(不要太流利了，有背誦之嫌)。
1) 考官要求你作自我介紹時，不要用…let me introduce myself briefly / please allow me to introduce myself to you等句子，重復(fù)、啰嗦。開頭可以只用一句話引入：Dear professors, I feel so glad to meet all of you here.然后就可以進(jìn)入主題，介紹姓名、年齡等等。
2) 自我介紹的主體內(nèi)容
�、� 姓名。介紹自己姓名時，發(fā)音一定要準(zhǔn)(南方考生要多加注意)。
�、� 年齡。年齡可以跟在姓名后帶過(I am XXX, 25 years old)。
�、� 原來的院校、專業(yè)。注意：一定要把原來學(xué)校的英文名稱、專業(yè)的英文名稱弄清楚(尤其是跨校、跨專業(yè)的學(xué)生)。 所屬的公司、職位。注意：在職考生則應(yīng)將自己公司、自己職位/職稱的英文名稱弄明白。
�、� 性格、能力�？梢灾貜�(qiáng)調(diào)你的個性對你報考的專業(yè)有何積極的作用。如果報考的.是學(xué)術(shù)性的專業(yè)，可以說自己細(xì)心(carefully，detail-oriented)、條理分明(logical)、踏實(steady)等;如果是研究性、應(yīng)用性更強(qiáng)一點的專業(yè)，可以說自己負(fù)責(zé)(responsible)、可靠(dependable)、有效率(efficient)等。
其他的一些表示性格、能力的形容詞有：active, aggressive(有進(jìn)取心的), adaptable, amicable(友好的), analytical(善于分析的), cooperative, creative, disciplined, dutiful, energetic, faithful, gentle, independent(有主見的), innovative, motivated, modest, objective, precise, punctual, precise(一絲不茍的), temperate等等。
在職考生或有過工作經(jīng)驗的考生還可以強(qiáng)調(diào)一下你的工作成績，如：As the assistant to the General Manger of XXX Company, I have helped to negotiate a $200,000 deal for the corporation.
�、輴酆�。All work and no play make Jack a dull boy. 除了強(qiáng)調(diào)你的學(xué)習(xí)的重視，同時也要避免給考官一種“書呆子”的感覺。一般可以從體育、音樂、電影等方面來說，同時要簡單說明這些愛好對你的積極意義(build my body, relax myself, open my mind…);注意避免提到那些可能引起考官反感的愛好，如：playing computer games，watching TV等。
�、弈銓罂嫉膶I(yè)有興趣(be interested in/be fascinated with/be obsessed with…)，可適當(dāng)舉出一些例子，如經(jīng)�？聪嚓P(guān)的書籍、論文、文章、新聞等。在職考生可以強(qiáng)調(diào)知識教育對工作的影響： In my work, I find it necessary to broaden my horizons in communication. That’s why I long for entering your prestigious university.
3) 結(jié)束時可以用說：That’s all about me. / Well, that’s who I am. Thanks for your attention.
