唐寅生做一份出色的英語簡歷,是成功求職于外企的“敲門磚”。不了解英文簡歷的常識和程式,不花費(fèi)相當(dāng)?shù)男乃紒碚故,沒有純正嫻熟的英文功底,絕不能獲得外企的青睞。那么如何才能制作一份簡約明快的英文簡歷呢?
教育背景要寫清楚
個人資料部分(PERSONAL DATA),包括求職者的姓名、性別、出生年月等,與中文簡歷大體一致。
外企一般都很重視求職者的教育背景(EDUCATION),就讀的高校越知名,求職成功率就越大。在寫教育背景時,求職者應(yīng)注意的.是,在英文簡歷中求職者受教育的時間排列順序與中文簡歷中的時間排列順序正好相反,也就是從求職者的最高教育層次(學(xué)歷)寫起,至于低至何時,則無一定之規(guī),可根據(jù)個人實(shí)際情況安排。
在這一部分,求職者必須注意一個細(xì)節(jié),那就是大多數(shù)外企對英語(或其他語種)及計(jì)算機(jī)水平都有一定的要求。因此,你在這方面如果有優(yōu)勢就盡可能地給予說明。
工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)要突出重點(diǎn)
隨著企業(yè)競爭的加劇,越來越多的用人單位看重求職的工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)(WORK EXPERIENCE),外企也一樣,特別是歐美企業(yè)很重視求職者的實(shí)際工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)。因此,如果你有很好的工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)最好擇其重點(diǎn)分項(xiàng)寫出來,包括服務(wù)單位的名稱,自身的職位、技能等。當(dāng)然,用人單位會在應(yīng)聘要求中寫明,他們會看中哪些工作能力和經(jīng)驗(yàn)。你在求職時,完全可以根據(jù)招聘廣告上所列出的每項(xiàng)要求,并列出自己的情況逐一與之比較。
例如,一則關(guān)于marketing management trainee和job requirement是這樣寫的:
We are looking for a competent person to fill the captioned position:
University graduate majors in Marketing Management. Prepared to develop career in the commercial field
——outgoing personality
——Able to communicate with different levels
——Good knowledge in PC operations

這樣做的好處是可讓你清楚了解該職位是否適合自己,自身資料又是否切合要求。更重要的是明白了各項(xiàng)要求后,你就可依據(jù)每一點(diǎn)在履歷表上重點(diǎn)提出自己在該方面的強(qiáng)項(xiàng)。突出賣點(diǎn),將之放在最吸引用人單位的地方,使招聘者一眼可見。
寫出你的職業(yè)目標(biāo)
Job Objective通常,一般求職者只會在履歷表開端簡單地寫上所應(yīng)征的職位-“Position Applied: Management Trainee”或“I am appling for……”其實(shí),若懂得利用這小小空間寫出自己的事業(yè)目標(biāo)(job objective),能顯示出你對該工作的熱誠及憧憬,能令招聘者對你加倍留意。
此外,你還可以簡要地寫出自己感興趣的領(lǐng)域(INTRESTED FIELD)。對于大多數(shù)求職者,尤其是對搞技術(shù)或研究工作的求職者來說,這一點(diǎn)必不可少。因?yàn)殡S著分工越來越細(xì),將工作能力與工作興趣相結(jié)合,不僅是求職者的意愿,對雇主來講,也同樣具有積極的意義。
不要認(rèn)為論資排輩只在國企流行,在韓資企業(yè)員工升遷也一樣論資排輩,所有人都得從底層做起。韓資企業(yè)一般實(shí)行高度的集權(quán)化,大部分管理權(quán)集中在公司高層領(lǐng)導(dǎo)那里,中下級管理人員只有很小的權(quán)力。更重要的是,上級做出指示后,下級無條件地執(zhí)行這些指示是工作職責(zé),這有點(diǎn)像軍人服從命令是天職一樣的感覺。
此外,韓資企業(yè)重男輕女的觀念比較嚴(yán)重。一位曾在韓國公司實(shí)習(xí)過的北京大學(xué)研究生晨小姐告訴記者,女員工進(jìn)韓資公司的第一件事就是打掃衛(wèi)生,男員工一般是不會幫忙的。
