　　Since I go to school, my parents always tell me that I should study hard, so that I can find a good job in the future and earn a lot of money. To most people, the purpose of reading books is to make money. But as I study more, I realize that making money and reading books don’t have the directly connection. The children should know more about the world by reading more books, at the same time, they need to sense the great joy of reading. When they are equipped with knowledge, they can solve problems by the skills they learn, the most important thing for them is to face difficulties with positive attitude.

　　自從我上學以來，我父母總是告訴我要努力學習，這樣我才能在將來找到一份好工作，掙很多錢。對大多數(shù)人來說，讀書的目的是為了賺錢，但是隨著我學習的深入，我發(fā)現(xiàn)賺錢和讀書并沒有直接的聯(lián)系。孩子們應(yīng)該通過閱讀更多的書來多了解世界，同時，他們需要感受到閱讀的樂趣。當他們具備了知識，就可以通過學到的技能來解決問題，對他們來說最重要的是要以積極的態(tài)度面對困難。

　　As the development of the world, there is more and more entertainment for people to kill time. Reading used to be an important amusement. But now there are less and less people fond of reading. But there are still a large number of people stand on the side of reading. For me, I think reading is very important. The reasons are as following.

　　隨著世界的發(fā)展，越來越多娛樂供人們消磨時光。閱讀在過去常常就是一種重要的娛樂。但現(xiàn)在卻越來越少人喜歡閱讀了。但仍然還有很多人是喜歡看書的。對我來說，我認為閱讀是很重要的。理由如下。

　　First of all, reading can broaden our vision. The main way we learn the things happen long time ago is according to the book. People will try their best to write the things in their stage in their way. When we read books, we have the opportunity to learn everything. The content in the books contains the knowledge all over the world and every aspect. We can read the knowledge about biography, science, technology, culture, economic and so on from the book. It is hard not to broaden vision from reading.

　　首先，閱讀可以開闊我們的視野。我們了解很久以前發(fā)生的事情的主要方式是通過閱讀。人們用他們自己的方式盡自己最大的努力寫關(guān)于他們那個年代的事情。我們看書的時候，我們才有機會了解到一切。書中的內(nèi)容包含知識的方方面面。通過書籍我們可以了解到關(guān)于傳記，科學，技術(shù)，文化，經(jīng)濟等方面的知識。從閱讀中，我們的視野很難不被拓寬。

　　Secondly, reading can cultivate our taste. I am sure that reading some elegant sentence or the beautiful things described in the book will make us feel relax and comfortable. And we all know that the more knowledge a person has, the better-behaved he will be. I think this is the charming of reading. If there are more people like reading, the world will become more civilized.

　　其次，閱讀可以陶冶我們的情操。我相信閱讀一些優(yōu)美的句子或者書中描述的美麗東西會使我們感到放松和舒適。我們都知道一個人擁有的.知識越多，那個人就會表現(xiàn)得越好。我覺得這就是閱讀的魅力。如果有更多的人喜歡閱讀，這個世界會變得更加文明。

　　The importance mentioned above just a part of reading. It has so many advantages that I can’t list all in a short time. It is irreplaceable in human beings’ life.

　　上面所提到的重要性只是其中一部分。閱讀有很多的優(yōu)點，在短時間內(nèi)我都不能一一列舉我不能列舉。它在人類的生活中是不可替代的。

　　我認為閱讀對人們來說是終身受用的。閱讀有許多好處。首先，讀書可以使我們增長見識，不出門，便可知天下事。其次，讀書能夠使我們的閱讀和寫作能力得到提高。在你學會如何寫之前，你得首先知道別人怎么寫。再者，閱讀能擴寬我們的知識面和眼界，這對我們將來找工作是很重要的。最后，閱讀使我們變得有修養(yǎng)，這對我們一生都是很有好處的。因此，不管你現(xiàn)在多大，不管你在干什么，現(xiàn)在就開始讀書吧。然后，你就會發(fā)現(xiàn)閱讀的魅力和好處了。

　　As consensus of everyone,people should read books,especially when they are young.However,we still should read selectively instead of blindly.

　　In China,many parents force their children to read all kinds of books for some reason,that makes those kids under heavy stress.

　　I don't think it's a good way for education,child should read those books which can help them develop a good viewpoint about the world and life,such as thanksgiving,appreciation,politeness and diligence.

　　Even for adult,we should select what we read as well,because our engergy is limited.

　　Moreover,we still need to learn much knowledge helpful for our career.

　　Actually,I think reading blindly is just wasting time.

　　Nowadays,people feel much more stress than before,so we can chose those books about computer application,investment,English learning,economy,finance,etc.

　　So,all in all,we should attach importance to both of selectivity and universality when thinking about reading.
