　　J: This year you're going to meet three new friends on Backpack, Corry, Jana and Grace. Corry plays soccer and he gets excited when his team wins. Jana loves school and the classes. And Grace likes animals. She has two new puppies. The puppies get scared when Grace goes to school. Today is the first day at school. Corry and Grace are talking. Let's watch.

　　這個學期我們將會認識新朋友，Corry，Jana和Grace。Corry會踢足球，當他們隊伍贏了比賽時，會非常興奮。Jana喜歡回學校上課。Grace喜歡動物，她新買了兩只寵物狗，當她上學時候，兩只寵物狗就會感覺害怕。今天是第一天上學，Corry和Grace正在聊天。讓我們來看看吧。

　　G: No, that girl isn't Jana.

　　不可能，那個女孩不是Jana。

　　C: Are you sure?

　　G: Yes, I'm sure. That girl is taller than Jana. And Jana has curly hair. That girl's hair is straight.

　　J: Hey Corry, hey Grace! What's the matter?

　　嘿，Corry!嘿，Grace!怎么了嗎?

　　C: It is. I told you, Grace. It's Jana. Hi Jana!

　　她是。Grace，我就給你說，她就是Jana。你好啊，Jana!

　　J: Hey!

　　G: Jana, well, you look different! I didn't recognize you.

　　Jana，哇，你看起來很不一樣!我都認不出你了。

　　J: Yeah. I changed a lot during the summer. But you changed, too.

　　是啊，暑假時我改變了不少。不過，你也不一樣了啊。

　　G: Really?

　　真的嗎?

　　J: Sure. Grace, you look taller. And Corry, your hair is lighter.

　　是啊，Grace，你看起來高了。Corry，你的頭發(fā)顏色更淺了。

　　C: Yeah! They had smaller,too. I'm serious. I studied during the summer.

　　對啊，也少了。我是認真的，這個暑假我都在學習。

　　G: And did you play soccer?

　　你踢足球了吧?

　　C: Well! Of course.

　　嗯，當然啦!

　　G: Hey, the summer I got two new puppies. They're really cute. They are black and have brown eyes. And one is litte bigger than the other.

　　對了，這個夏天我新養(yǎng)了兩只寵物狗。它們真的很可愛。它們都是黑色的，而且眼睛是褐色的。一只比較小，另一只則比較大。

　　J: What were their names?

　　它們叫什么名字啊?

　　G: The samll puppy is Blanket. And the bigger puppy is Patch.

　　小的那只叫Blanket，大一點那只叫Patch。

　　J: Oh, it's time for class. It's gonna be so fun. I love school.

　　噢，該上課了。一定會有趣的，我太喜歡學校了。

　　C: I don't love school.

　　我不喜歡。

　　G: That's one thing no has change.

　　這是唯一一件沒有改變的事情。

　　J: Did you change during your vaction? Did your friends change? It's fun to see how people change. That's all for this time on Backpack. Goodbye for now.
