易混淆副詞的用法總結(jié)
副詞可分為:時間副詞、頻率副詞、地點(diǎn)副詞、方式副詞、程度副詞、疑問副詞、連接副詞、關(guān)系副詞、表順序的副詞。
1. very/much 表示“非常”
1)very 修飾原級,much修飾比較級或最高級
如:
She is very nice. 她人很好。
The room is very big. 房間很大。
You finished the work very quickly. 你很快就完成了工作。
I’m much better. 我好多了。
He is much taller than his brother. 他比他兄弟高多了。
That was much the best meal I've ever tasted. 這是我嘗過的最最好吃的佳肴。
The car is much the most expensive. 這輛車是最最昂貴的。
2)very 修飾形容詞和副詞,much修飾動詞
如:
The flower is very beautiful. 花很漂亮。
It’s a very cold day. 今天天氣很冷。
She talks very fast. 她講話很快。
I will check very carefully. 我會非常認(rèn)真檢查的。
She is very tired. 她很疲倦。(tired在此是過去分詞作形容詞,仍用very修飾)
That is a very astonishing fact. 這是個非常令人吃驚的事實(shí)。(astonishing在此是現(xiàn)在分詞作形容詞,仍用very修飾).
3)much修飾動詞時,常用于否定句;much也可修飾肯定句中表示個人情感的動詞的被動語態(tài)
如:
I don’t like her much. 我不太喜歡她。
He didn’t sleep much. 他沒怎么睡覺。
She is much pleased by your compliment. 你的贊賞讓她很高興。
He is much liked by the audience. 觀眾很喜歡他。
Your effort is much appreciated. 很感激你的努力。
4)修飾動詞時可用very much代替much,且very much 比much更常用于肯定句。
如:
Thank you very much. 非常謝謝你。
I like her very much. 我非常喜歡她。
I admire you very much. 我非常羨慕你。
He objects very much to the suggestion. 他非常反對這個提議。
She is very much surprised by the news. 這消息令她非常驚訝。
He was very much impressed by you. 他對你的印象非常深刻。
You are very much amused by the child. 你被這小孩逗的很開心。
5)much/very much修飾alive, asleep, ashamed, alone, awake, afraid等敘述形容詞
如:
She is still (very) much alive. 她仍然很有活力。
The twins look (very) much alike. 這對雙胞胎非常相像。
He feels (very) much ashamed. 他感到很慚愧。
She was (very) much afraid that he knew it. 她很害怕他知道。
6)much 修飾too, much too 表示“太…”
如:
The water is much too hot. 水太燙了。
He is much too tall. 他長的太高了。
She is much too busy. 她太忙了。
You’ve gone much too far. 你太過分了。
2. too/either/also 表示”也“
1)too用于肯定句句末,詞前有逗號隔開
如:
He is a teacher. I am a teacher, too. 他是一名老師, 我也是一名老師。
He likes white. She likes white, too. 他喜歡白色,她也喜歡白色。
You may try it, too. 你也可以試試。
注:一般來講,too前也有不加逗號的情況,若加逗號,則更強(qiáng)調(diào)too,若不加逗號,則語氣較弱。
2)either用于否定句
如:
He isn’t a teacher. I am not a teacher either. 他不是一名老師, 我也不是一名老師。
He doesn’t like white. She doesn’t like white either. 他不喜歡白色,她也不喜歡白色。
It doesn’t do him any good, but it doesn’t do him any harm either. 這對他沒什么好處,但也沒什么壞處。
3)also較為正式,其位置和頻度副詞的位置一樣
如:
You also agree with her. 你也同意她的意見。
I also want to pass the exam. 我也想考試及格。
He was also a student. 他也是一位學(xué)生。
She was also here. 她也在這。
3. ago/before 表示 “以前”
1)時間段+ago,表示從現(xiàn)在向過去追溯,常用于一般過去時
如:
It happened over 300 years ago. 這發(fā)生在300多年前。(距今300多年前)
They met two weeks ago. 他們是兩個星期以前遇見的。(距今兩個星期以前)
He arrived a few hours ago. 他幾小時之前到的。
She left a long time ago. 她很久之前就離開了。
I saw you two days ago. 我兩天前看見你了。
2)時間段+ before,表示從過去向更過去追溯,即指過去的過去,常用于過去完成時
如:
She said she had finished her homework two hours before. 她說她兩個小時之前就已經(jīng)完成作業(yè)了。("finished"的動作發(fā)生在”said“之前的兩個小時,表過去的過去)
He said he had worked in Beijing two years before. 他說他兩年之前就已經(jīng)在北京工作兩年了。
She said she had bought the computer five weeks before. 她說她五個星期前就已經(jīng)買了電腦。
3)before單獨(dú)使用,泛指以前,可用于現(xiàn)在完成時或一般過去時
如:
I have seen you before. 我之前見過你。
I have never seen you so angry before. 我之前從來沒見過你如此生氣。
She has never seen so many beautiful flowers before. 她從來沒有見過這么多的花。
He has seen the movie before. 他之前看過這部電影。
She looked just the same as before. 她看起來和以前一樣。
He didn’t know that before. 他之前并不知道。
4. already/yet 表示“已經(jīng)”
1)常與完成時態(tài)連用,already用于肯定句,yet用于疑問句
如:
He has already arrived. 他已經(jīng)到了。
I’ve already told her the news. 我已經(jīng)把消息告訴她了。
The show had already started when I arrived. 我到之時,表演已經(jīng)開始了。
The movie is already available in China. 在中國已經(jīng)可以看到這部電影了。
Have you found the key yet? 你已經(jīng)找到鑰匙了嗎?
Have you finished your work yet? 你已經(jīng)完成工作了嗎?
Has he gone yet?他已經(jīng)走了嗎?
2)yet用于否定句,表示“還”
如:
The show hasn’t started yet. 節(jié)目還沒有開始。
She hasn’t arrived yet. 她還沒有到。
5. ever/once 表示”曾經(jīng)“
ever用于否定句、疑問句或肯定句中表示比較時,once用于肯定句
如:
I don’t think I have ever seen you before. 我覺得我從來沒有見過你。
Have you ever been to Guangzhou? 你來過廣州嗎?
Have you ever done it before? 你有做過這件事嗎?
You are the most charming person I’ve ever met. 你是我見過的最有魅力的人。
This is the highest building I’ve ever seen. 這是我見過的最高的樓。
I once lived in Beijing. 我曾經(jīng)住在北京。
She once worked for me. 她曾經(jīng)為我工作。
He once loved you. 他曾經(jīng)愛過你。
Ann was once a naughty girl. 安妮曾經(jīng)是個淘氣的女孩。
She was once an actress. 她曾經(jīng)是個演員。
He was once a basketball player. 他曾經(jīng)是個籃球隊(duì)員。
