❶ I prefer email. There are some reasons. ❷ Firstly, students stop traveling for long distances. ❸ On one hand, with the help of internet, students on holiday in other states can still have discussions with the professor or send assignment by email. And the professor, in any place in the world, is also contactable. ❹ On the other hand, it avoids travel in harsh weather, like storm or hurricane. An email solves all the problem. ❺ Secondly, it improves efficiency and thus saves time, as students receive instant reply. ❻ For example, students instantly receive the comments on the paper right finished by the professor at midnight when a visit is less likely. To conclude, I prefer sending questions by email.
