在國外，老師留的作業(yè)既可以叫作homework，也可以叫作assignment。很多學生會說“I have a huge assignment to do this weekend.”我這個周末有一個很大的功課要做。

Expertise來自于我們很熟悉的一個單詞expert/專家。Expertise是指你在某一領域的專長。Develop expertise in 后面一定要加名詞，如果是動詞的話，一定要記得加上ing變成動名詞的形式。
expand one's knowledge 拓展知識
The best way to expand your knowledge is to read books in the library.
在這個短語里，我們除了可以使用expand之外，還可以使用increase。但是increase出現(xiàn)的頻率實在是太高了，所以想得高分的同學不妨使用expand，畢竟“物以稀為貴”嘛。

課外活動叫做extracurricular activities。Extracurricular是一個形容詞，意思是“課外的”。我們也可以使用extra curriculum來進行代替，兩個詞組表達的含義是一樣的。

在國外，成績除了叫作score以外，還可以叫作grade。Grade是一個多義詞，除了有年級的意思之外，還有成績的意思。所以大家一定要注意積累。

在這個句子里，個人興趣可以說成individual interest，也可以說成personal interest。類似的詞組有：追求夢想/pursue/chase one’s dream、完全實現(xiàn)自己的抱負/fulfill oneself等。

With the help of the career center,many students can find their ideal job after graduation.
