給內(nèi)向求職者的5條建議

　　First impressions are everything, so if youre shy by nature, you need to break out of your shell if youre trying to impress someone.

No matter how uncomfortable it is for you to warm up to people immediately, you need to overcome these feelings in order to give off the right message to your interviewer. Here are some things shy candidates should keep in mind when interviewing for a job:

1. Check out the place ahead of time

Theres an advantage to getting to the reception area early. Youll get a sense of the companys personality. Sit comfortably and unwind there. With the extra time, youll also be able to relax and gather your thoughts before you meet the interviewer.
提早到達(dá)面試地點(diǎn)將會(huì)是很大的優(yōu)勢(shì)。你會(huì)對(duì)公司的特點(diǎn)有大概的了解。舒適而放松地在那兒坐一會(huì)兒吧。在提早的那段時(shí)間里，你可以放松一下，同時(shí)對(duì)即將面臨的面試做好思想準(zhǔn)備。
2. Imagine yourself succeeding

Walk as if you belong there,. If you look like you belong at the company, it will make it easier for everyone else to imagine you working there.
隨便走走，就好像你已經(jīng)屬于那家公司了一樣。假如你看上去就像屬于那家公司了一樣，別人也會(huì)更容易想象你已經(jīng)在那兒工作了的樣子。
Picture yourself walking into the interviewers room standing tall, shoulders back, balanced, striding confidently with your hands swinging comfortably at your side, and smiling.
想象你這樣走進(jìn)面試官的辦公室：你身板站直、肩膀舒展、身體平衡、步調(diào)自信、雙手隨意在兩側(cè)擺動(dòng)，同時(shí)面帶微笑。
3. Make eye contact

Appropriate eye contact is one way to build trust when you initially meet someone. You should look someone straight in the eyes, but obviously, dont stare at them.
恰當(dāng)?shù)难凵窠涣魇窃诔醮我娒鏁r(shí)在雙方之間建立信任的手段之一。你應(yīng)該直視對(duì)方的眼睛，當(dāng)然，不要盯著對(duì)方。
Youll want to make eye contact all the way through the interview. Nervous job candidates instantly reveal their unease if they’re uncomfortable making eye contact. Interviewers may conclude that someone who has trouble meeting their eyes dislikes them, is fearful of responsibility, or won’t relate to co-workers and customers.
在面試全程中，你都需要和對(duì)方進(jìn)行眼神交流。假如一個(gè)緊張的求職者不敢于進(jìn)行眼神交流，那會(huì)不斷地暴露出他的緊張情緒。面試官會(huì)認(rèn)為那些不敢和他眼神交流的人不喜歡他、害怕責(zé)任，或者將來也不能與同事和顧客很好地建立關(guān)系。
4. Sit up straight

If youre offered a choice of seats, choose a hardback chair rather than a sofa where youll sink down and find it harder to project authority.
假如你可以自行選擇坐的地方，選個(gè)硬靠背的椅子，別選擇沙發(fā)。否則你會(huì)沉在沙發(fā)里，難以表現(xiàn)嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)?shù)男蜗蟆?br /> You should sit comfortably erect with your feet planted on the floor and leaning slightly forward. Sit close enough so you can communicate easily but not so close that you’re invading the other persons space.
你應(yīng)該筆直而又舒適地坐著，讓你的腳平放在地上，身體輕微向前傾。稍微坐近一點(diǎn)以便于更好地交流，但不要坐得太近，那樣會(huì)顯得對(duì)別人的個(gè)人空間充滿侵略性。
5. Dont play with your hands too much
5.不要過多擺弄你的手。
Avoid touching your face, hair or jewelry, or fussing with your briefcase. Keep any papers you want to show in your briefcase until it’s time to take them out.
避免觸摸你的臉、頭發(fā)和首飾，也不要翻動(dòng)你的公文包。除非到了該拿出來的時(shí)候，你應(yīng)該把所有你要展示的文件都留在公文包里。
