  When an interviewer asks this question, s/he is trying to find out whether you believe you can do the job successfully. They’re interested in seeing whether you understand what the job is. So what you choose to say about yourself—and whether it matches what they’ve told you about job - is important here.

  回答策略:

  1. Your enthusiasm and confidence is important in answering this question. Whether or not you’re convinced that this is the right job for you, it’s important to talk as if it is. If your behavior or words send the message that you’re unsure, a good interviewer will see your doubt immediately.

  2. Make sure that you have clearly understood what the job is before you talk about how you well you can do this job. Clarify the job description. “My understanding of this position is that you are looking for someone who can build strong customer relationships and who as experience in customer service. Well you can see from my resume that I have such experience.

  3. In your answer don’t focus on why the job would be good for you, but on why you would do the job well for the company. Remember the company isn’t hiring you so that you can develop your career. The company is hiring you so that you can contribute to the company’s growth.

  4. When talking about how you would contribute to the company, use the pronoun ‘we’ and talk as if you are have already gotten the job. “I believe that we are in a good position to expand in the market and we should focus on improving sales so we can grow rapidly.”

  5. DON’T – be overconfident by saying that you can achieve things that your resume doesn’t support. Don’t claim that you can increase sales if you have never done sales.

I’m enthusiastic, willing to work hard, and very excited about the prospect of working for company with such big plans for the future.
