英國移民局取消57所私立院校和3所大學(xué)招收海外學(xué)生的資格。
6月24日，英國移民與邊防大臣James Brokenshire在下議院提交報告稱，由于英國有一批大學(xué)及學(xué)院因無法履行招收海外學(xué)生牌照所規(guī)定的職責(zé)，將對部分學(xué)校進行取消招收海外學(xué)生資格的處罰。報告中強調(diào)，為保護英國教育的聲譽和廣大海外學(xué)生的利益，英國政府對于這些違反移民法的行為將“零容忍”。
英國移民局取消了57所英國私立院校和3所大學(xué)招收海外學(xué)生的資格。在57所私立院校中，被移民大臣點名的倫敦商業(yè)和金融學(xué)校(London School of Business and Finance)因為290名學(xué)生違反了海外學(xué)生在英國工作的相關(guān)規(guī)定，而被取消招收海外學(xué)生資格。廣之旅“精英出國”留學(xué)移民中心總監(jiān)尹曉霞提醒家長和同學(xué)們，對于已經(jīng)收到被處罰院校錄取的同學(xué)不要驚慌，可以一邊向?qū)W校確認消息，同時可以考慮轉(zhuǎn)投其他學(xué)校。對于最終的處理，英國政府和相關(guān)學(xué)校會做好安排。另外在選擇學(xué)校前，多看、多聽、多了解，可通過有資質(zhì)的留學(xué)中介了解海外院校信息，以便作出準確的選擇。
如果不幸中招怎么辦
被取消招收海外學(xué)生資格的學(xué)校，將沒有資格招收新的海外學(xué)生。對于申請此類學(xué)校的學(xué)生，琥珀教育華南區(qū)總經(jīng)理何楚剛給出了以下幾點建議：
1.如果你還沒有拿到電子錄取通知書CAS，請在未來幾周內(nèi)時刻關(guān)注學(xué)校相關(guān)消息，建議同時盡快申請其他有資格的大學(xué)。CAS是英國大學(xué)發(fā)給學(xué)生的一個特別的電子參考號碼，是申請赴英國留學(xué)簽證的必要材料之一，簽證官在獲取CAS號碼后可以聯(lián)網(wǎng)查詢申請者相關(guān)信息資料。
2.如果你已經(jīng)拿到了CAS，但還沒有遞交英國簽證申請，請在未來幾周內(nèi)時刻關(guān)注學(xué)校相關(guān)消息。在沒有收到進一步通知之前，請不要憑著CAS申請簽證，因為申請會被暫時擱置。建議同時盡快申請其他有資格的大學(xué)。
3.如果你已經(jīng)拿到了CAS并遞交了簽證申請，但是簽證申請還沒有進行處理，你的簽證將會被暫時擱置，直到學(xué)校目前的情況得以解決。建議同時盡快申請其他有資格的大學(xué)。
4.如果你需要CAS來續(xù)簽簽證，并且原有簽證在接下來的2周內(nèi)不會過期，請時刻關(guān)注學(xué)校的相關(guān)信息等待進一步消息;如果你的簽證將在接下來的2周內(nèi)過期，請盡快申請其他有資格的大學(xué)。
5.如果你已經(jīng)拿到了簽證，或者是在讀學(xué)生，暫時不用太擔心，但還是要時刻關(guān)注其學(xué)校的最新相關(guān)消息。
最后裁決還會有轉(zhuǎn)機
英國內(nèi)政部近日公布了3所英國大學(xué)簽證擔保資格變化的通知，格靈多大學(xué)(Glyndwr University)因為350名學(xué)生涉及ETS語言考試舞弊案，而被取消招收海外學(xué)生資格。西倫敦大學(xué)(University of West London)以及貝特福德大學(xué) (University of Bedfordshire)也因為其學(xué)生涉及語言考試舞弊案，被警告并暫停招收新的海外學(xué)生。英國教育官方微信表示，中國學(xué)生無須擔心，已經(jīng)在這些學(xué)校學(xué)習(xí)的學(xué)生不會受到任何影響。已經(jīng)收到西倫敦大學(xué)和貝特福德大學(xué)CAS的學(xué)生，如果已經(jīng)提交或?qū)⒁峤坏暮炞C申請都將被正常受理。
英國移民局會進一步對這些學(xué)校和學(xué)院進行審核和調(diào)查，結(jié)果有兩種：一種是恢復(fù)招生資格，一切恢復(fù)正常，這也是大家最希望看到的結(jié)果;一種是招生執(zhí)照被永久取消。如果不能順利通過進一步審查，這些學(xué)校不能招收新的海外學(xué)生，現(xiàn)有在讀的海外學(xué)生也必須在60天內(nèi)轉(zhuǎn)校。
